Exterior Waterproofing in Middleburg, VA — Stop Water Before It Reaches the Wall
We excavate only where necessary and restore landscaping as part of the scope.
24/7
Emergency Dispatch
We excavate only where necessary and restore landscaping as part of the scope.
A lot of Middleburg, VA exterior waterproofing failures trace back to a footing drain that was installed without proper slope, which means it never actually moved water the way it was supposed to. We verify slope during installation, not just at design.
We call in utility locates before any digging starts, standard on every Middleburg, VA exterior job.
Excavation equipment and membrane materials are staged locally so an exterior project doesn't wait on out-of-town logistics.
Landscaping restoration is included in the scope, not billed as a separate surprise line item.
Membrane seams are overlapped and sealed to manufacturer spec so the barrier performs as designed for decades, not just years.
We scope every Exterior Waterproofing job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
We excavate to the footing, apply a dimpled waterproof membrane directly to the foundation wall, and backfill with proper drainage material.
We slope footing drains correctly during installation, since a flat or reverse-sloped drain simply won't move water.
We regrade the perimeter to direct surface water away from the wall, typically paired with downspout extensions.
We also inspect and reseal the window frame itself while the well is open.
Downspouts discharging within a few feet of the foundation send roof water directly toward the problem — we extend them well clear of the wall.
Photos of the exterior foundation area help us plan equipment and access before the visit.
We flag any utility lines or landscaping features that need special handling during excavation.
We explain what's included in landscaping restoration so there's no confusion after backfill.
We restore grading and any disturbed landscaping as the final step before calling the job complete.

We'll recommend the right approach based on what the inspection actually finds.
Some disruption is unavoidable near the foundation, but we restore grading and replant where reasonable as part of the scope.
We measure your specific foundation during the on-site inspection rather than assuming a standard depth.
Generally yes, since it involves excavation, but it addresses the source of water intrusion rather than managing symptoms after entry.
We'll recommend starting there if the inspection suggests surface water is the primary cause.
Larger projects or difficult access points can extend the timeline, which we'll outline in the written quote.
